The house sits at the end of a white sandy beach in Roches Noires where an outcrop of black rocks jutting out into the sea terminates the beach. The house is pushed forward at the forefront of the beach but not compromising its integration with the landscape and coastline. It is built alongside house 2 using the same materials and colors for both with the intention of keeping a harmonious whole. The windows and doors are in teak and have mellowed with time.
