This double storey family house of generous proportions is in Antananarivo Madagascar. The design is enhanced by the exceptional use of solid rosewood trusses expressed internally. The roof cladding is a combination of local hardwood shingles left in its natural state and interspaced with green reflective glass roof lights. The verandah stretches along the length of the house and faces a large pool, itself embraced on both sides with a colonnaded covered walkway reflecting in the water.
